We are looking for applications from candidates who meet the following requirements:
1. Be a 3rd to 4th year student in good standing at a College of Veterinary Medicine.
2. Demonstrates good moral character and participates in community services.
3. Provide a current resume/CV.
4. Provide 2 letters of recommendation from professors with whom he/she has worked.
5. Preferably shows an interest in purebred dogs, especially terriers, and an interest in ongoing research for them.
6. Will submit a short essay, 500 words or less, describing their vision and goals for their veterinary career.
7. Must agree to be available to share his/her bio with the membership of the WFA in the form of a written report
on progress which will be published in the Foundation’s newsletter and other social media.
8. Must provide permission to the WFA to utilize this information as part of its publicity campaign to promote
continuing research into the health of purebred dogs.
