The CooperVision® Best Practices Recognition Program honors our industry’s finest eye care professionals and their dedication to innovation, leadership, patient care, and community service. These professionals join a select group from practices across the US at the Best Practices Summit. CooperVision is extending the program to three 3rd-year optometry students by offering a scholarship to attend the 2021 Best Practices Summit. Recipients of the scholarship will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the 2021 Best Practices Summit; the opportunity to network with exceptional eyecare practices and professionals across the US. Expenses covered: lodging, food and transportation. 

Applicant Eligibility:
• The applicant must be a 3rd-year optometry student in attendance at a US Optometry School. • The applicant must be a student in good academic standing at their respective institution. • Applicants must demonstrate leadership and participation in school and community activities. • The applicant must be able to attend the 2021 Best Practices Summit on 4/18 – 4/20.

• Applications must be completed in their entirety online. • Applicants must submit their resume. • Applicants must be able to attend the 2021 Best Practices Summit on 4/18 – 4/20. 
 
To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must complete the following requirements:  • The applicant must submit a 1 minute or less video in English.   • Submit their resume. • Submit 1 letter of recommendation from an academic advisor/teacher/dean where the applicant attends school (optional). These requirements must be submitted during the application timeframe of Thursday, November 19, 2020 – Friday, January 8, 2021. Timeframe outlined in detail:
