Funding Opportunity for health based project

The Paul Ambrose Scholars Program prepares public health and clinical health professions students from across 8 health professions to address population health challenges at the national and community level.  Since 2002, more than 550 students from over 200 academic institutions have become Paul Ambrose Scholars.  This program seeks to meet the current and future health needs of the public by providing mini-grant funds to implement a Healthy People 2020 Leading Health Indicators project within a student's community or at their academic institution. 

Applicants must be a current student in one of the following areas of graduate study at an accredited institution within the United States:

  • Dentistry: Entering Years 2-4 in Fall 2015
  • Graduate Nursing
  • Graduate Physician Assistant
  • Osteopathic Medicine: Entering years 2-4 in Fall 2015
  • Pharmacy: Entering year 3 or 4 of professional pharmacy program in Fall 2015
  • Physical Therapy (D.P.T.)
  • Public Health (APTR Member Programs Only*)
    *Review the APTR Council of Graduate Programs in Public Health database to determine if your public health program qualifies for eligibility

Applicants graduating in 2015 are not eligible for the program
