A scholarship opportunity for Pharmacy students

The Target Innovation Award was established in 2015, as a national competition to learn how SNPhA students will be more innovative in their chapter, and incorporate the mission of both Target and SNPhA in order to greater impact their communities.  This is an individual scholarship award that will be based on creativity and the clear, effective plan on how both organizations’ missions are incorporated in to the student’s plan.  This experience will teach students the value of being innovative in order to meet the needs of both the organization they serve and their community.  The top three students will receive scholarships at a regional meeting in order to assist them in their education.

  • Students must be paid, active SNPhA members and be enrolled in a US accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Students will write a 1500 words or less response to the prompt, “How do you plan to be innovative, and use both the missions of Target and SNPhA in order to optimize your chapter’s impact at serving the under served?”
  • The application must be fully completed and emailed to Jarjeet Singh (jarjeetsingh@snpha.org) by February 6th, 2015 at 9:00 PM EST/8:00 PM CST/7:00 PM MST/6:00 PM PST.
  • Students applying for this award must register, designate on the application, and attend one of the regional conferences in order to receive this award.  Failure to attend one of the regional meetings will cause the award to be forfeited and given to the next student.
  • If you are a recipient of this award, you must submit a one-page letter discussing how you implemented your innovative plan and how it did impact your community.  This letter must be addressed to Target and should be emailed to Jarjeet Singh with all other application requirements.
