This scholarship honoring Ruth Webb will be awarded to a minority student demonstrating good academic standing and pursuing activities to promote the PA profession. A minority student is defined as a man or woman who is a descendent of African American, Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islanders, and Latin American and Alaskan Native parentage according to the AAPA and CAPA guidelines.

• Be a resident of California
• Be a student enrolled in California Primary Care PA program that is ARC PA or successor agency approved
• Student member of CAPA
• Be a continuing student in good academic standing, which needs to be confirmed by the PA program
• Demonstrate financial need
• Sign a letter of intent to take the NCCPA Board exam within 60 days after their graduation. This letter also is to state that they intend to practice as a physician assistant
