The mission of The San Diego Foundation is to improve the quality of life in all of our communities by providing leadership for effective philanthropy that builds enduring assets and by promoting community solutions through research, convening and actions that advance the common good.

• Applicant must be a college student who completed two full academic years (60 semester units or 72 quarter units); pursuing a career in nursing
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Demonstrated financial need; a resident of San Diego County
• Attending an accredited two-year college or four-year university in the U.S. Scholarship is also open to a student pursuing Masters degree or Ph.D. in nursing.
• Criteria: Awards are given based on the application materials.
