Western U prof part of drug marketing study

The publication of a study in the New England Journal of Medicine this week involving a drug effective at lowering cholesterol but not at helping heart disease has drawn attention from the medical community, but that wasn't the only study related to the drug.

The study was accompanied by another that compared the use of the drug in the U.S. and in Canada and involved a faculty member of the College of Pharmacy at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona.
